Could I keep a jack Dempsey with a breeding pair of convect sin a 55 gallon

I have a pair of convect cichlids in a 55 gallon and was wondering if there is any fish I could keep with them

If its a breeding pair of convicts, they will probably kill the JD, or in the least make its life so miserable that it won't show color, and have health problems.
