I have my breeding jags shown on another thread, would it be possible to keep anything in with them? obviously with the babies it would need to be something that wouldn't pick them off and the male is pretty aggressive but I'd like something else in with them. Any thoughts?

you may be able to do a pleco of some type. but they will eat the eggs if they get the chance

in a 6'+ foot tank- yes, anything smaller-no, but by yes i mean one or 2 large cichlids of the same size,- which will get beaten when yours start breeding, any smaller cichlids that aren't as tough will die, they have 3-4' territorys in the aquarium minimum, and that doesn't leave a whole lota room to escape them if you piss them off- keep a divider on hand in case they flip out and put major damage on the other fish, which may happen.
