i have java moss, anubia , and penny wort, with my convicts the only thing that stays where i put it is the anuba (witch is tied to a large log) every thing not tied down gets bulldozed.

don't know about the rest.

oh okay, should i keep the plants in groups or should i separate them in my tank

I have 40 or so convicts including about 30 babies, one large firemouth, a pair of venustus, and many assorted cleaners bristlenose-corys-khulis. they all do fine with my amazon and ruffled swords but I have to place flat river rocks around the base of the plants to keep 'em from digging them up.

Smaller convicts will pick at thinner type plants, I know my fry tank shredded some crypt leaves up in quick order. I would try to lean towards larger sword types, anubias, or java fern if you want to have a larger chance at success.

Java fern and anubias might be okay, but my jd for sure shredded other plants.
