The Real Norcal
It is about 250 gallons I think, 3' by 3' by 6'.

I want to get 2 NTT,2 IT,and an NGT,if i can't get a hold of the IT's I would switch that to 3 NTT and 3 NGT.

I'm was told I would most definitely have to remove the TSN,and I may be willing to do so when it get about time to but I was wondering about him being as I have had him since he was literally just a 1" fry and he has never eaten a feeder in his life...

Any input is welcome, thanks in advance,

6x3x3 is about 400 gal tank
just make sure the dats aren't too small since u have big fish in there. and NGTs they're one of the more aggessive tigers. some ppl have kept more than 1 together while others have not.. u just have to try.

Sounds like a good plan to me. Get whatever dats you can find, and you will be good with that setup for a good long time. GL ;)

If I ditch the TSN and get some dats no less than 5" there is a pretty good chance it would work,no?

the biggest fish in there are the shark,13",the barbs,10-12",and my ck unfortunately has already grown to about 15" and has somewhat of an attitude. He is the on I worry about, although in my search for people who have raised dats with TSN (I found none) I had found several accounts of them being raised with P.bass and CK and not being eaten....theoretically due to their spines. Is this theory valid?

I looked around in the vendors section but did not find dats much larger than 5" at the moment.....no LFS for a hundred miles of here have ever even heard of a dat,LOL

when you say keeping more than one together with the NGT's do you mean keeping more than one NGT together is risky or keepin an NGT with other dats is risky?

I was aware that the NGT's were the aggressive ones of the dats but I had seen them with other dats before,I figured maybe if I got a trio?If not than just one NGT and definitely some NTT,though I do like those IT....:nilly:

Thanks again,

Agreed, sounds like a great Dat tank in the making.
