Could I make the framing of an indoor pond reattachable and unattachable by using large bolts and nuts. In order to put the five complete sides together inside the house and then take them apart to move them outside. KInd of like how they build houses in segments and reassemble on site.

I'm worried that it wouldn't hold water, it would be lined with a pond liner.

If you assemble it and then place the pond liner in it, it should be fine. When you want to move it, remove the pond liner, take it apart, move it, put it back together, add the pond liner, and add water.

The only reason it would get complicated is if you tried to add a window. Then you'd have to be resealing it every time, and it would be more likely to leak.

Cool, thanks Conner for reassuring me that my logic is sound.

I wouldn't want to do a viewing window anyways, too much hassle just to see the fish at their level, I still get all their angles when viewing them from above.
