so far, ive had, 3 crawfish killed, and a porthole catfish
all animals that like to hide, like the bullhead (the porthole rarely tho)

ive seen the yellow bullhead defend its territory (the broken plant pots)
from anything that trys to hide with it (they did have other options)

and my bass is just fine, so was my tilapia (removed) thats when the porthole was killed (the night the tilapia was removed)

im afraid to put my gar in there, when it gets bigger (to the same relative size) tho they dont really hide

if ur bass is of any size it could be the cray killer. They eat cray on the wild. If not, the bullhead probably did it. all the of mine are pretty tough at 3-4". The 4"er even picks on my 12" albino channel cat.

P.S. be patient. you may not always get an answer overnight

your gar should be fine in there if your Bass is a large mouth then its most likely the culprit they LOVE crayfish but it might not be as it would usually eat them not just kill them

my bass is way too small for them, and so is the bullhead, what about the dead porthole?? it was too big too

and they all died overnight, when bullhead catfish come out
