IMO yes. They prefer higher temps and soft water just like discus. I used to keep a large L240 female and would have had no problems adding her in with discus if I had thought about it. Keep in mind though plecos (all of them) produce a lot of waste so make sure your over filtered.
Oh and no one should be making fun of you for asking first Tyler, that's what we hope our members do
