My female SB texas died a while ago but for some reason now I want to find the cause of death. Her stomach was huge. After she died I decided to dissect her. I remember when i pushed the blade into her abdomen eggs started squirting out like crazy. I can imagine that there was a lot of pressure on her internal organs with the amount of eggs in her. There was no where to lay eggs and I kept her with very aggressive tank mates. She was very stressed most of the time. I'll admit that it was because of my poor stock choice. Do you think this killed her?
