Could someone help me identify this rainbowfish?

What type of rainbowfish is it? This was given to me by a friend. She had it in a really dirty 30 gallon tank with turtles, blood parrots, and a pacu. It is beat up really bad. When she first gave it to me last night, it had no color, but it is starting to look really nice. I think I wouldn't mind having more of these in my rainbowfish school.

Very beautiful rainbows IMO. Right there with boesemanis.

Could also be a Boesemani but looks more like a Wanam in your pic, you'll know for sure after a few days of good food and clean water which will bring out the colours. You should also see better colour in the early morning.

Yes they all do. I think every rainbow is very beautiful. I used to have a nice collection but my tank busted while I wasn't home. Sad day.

I love the way the colours change throughout the day as well, deepest/richest colours first thing in the morning gradually changing to lighter shades by the evening (at least thats what happens with Boesemanis but I think it's the same with others as well).
