Hey guys,

Could these fish live together?

1 x l18 golden nugget pleco
1 x l134 leopard frog pleco
4 x sterbai corydoras
2 x tinfoil barb fish 2"
2 x 3" silver shark
4 x red tail black shark
1 x black ghost knife
4 x 2 inch clown loach
4 x paleatus peppered corydoras cory
2 x Rineloricaria (whiptails)

None of the fish are that big, largest are the plecs at 8cm each..

i wouldn't really keep 4 red tails in the same tank unless its huge. silver sharks (aka bala sharks) and tinfoils need to be in schools so, i'd keep bout' 5 bala's and five tinfoils. i'd als up the clown loach and cory schools to atleast one more fish. alos how big is your tank (hope its huge)

tank is 33" x 19" x 14"

i know some of these fish grow big, but i'll be looking to upgrade in the next 12 or so months (or when neccessary)

no way jose !!
dimension have you at like a 30 maybe 40 gallon tank
go with a planted tank get abunch of corys and maybe some tiger barbs or something

1 x l18 golden nugget pleco
1 x l134 leopard frog pleco
4 x sterbai corydoras
2 x Rineloricaria (whiptails)

These are the fish I'm really really liking... But the plec's and whiptails are very similar in terms of they wont be taking up the top surface or mid regions of the tank etc... I guess the same with the corys too...

What If I just had those guys.... ? But I'd like something that would be around middle/top of tank also... any ideas?

Don't worry I'm not gonna do anything dumb and rush out and buy these, I'm gonna keep editing my list till I get approved by some non noobs...lol

Thanks guys.

Too many fish for that size tank - and some of them are fast growers

Just noticed your new post - much better ;)

Maybe get some smaller barbs - Golden / T-Barbs etc for the middle of the tank. They are active but dont get big like the Tinfoils.

Cheers

Ian

Ah cool thanks Ian!

All the fish I seem to be drawn to, seem to be bottom dwellers and cat etc... or monsters that I just don't have the tank (size) for...

Will get it right in the end though I'm sure mate!

What's that old saying... your eyes are bigger then your tank... (or soemthing like that) ....heh
