I know it would be hard work if it even worked at all, but i saw an eel-tail catfish at my lfs and really want it. My Sooty Grunteris a bit over 20cm and the eel-tail was a bit over 15cm. Could it work? And if so, what would I need to do? Thanks

Just those 2. Highly unlikely.
Depending on the size of your tank and if you decide to put some dither fish in there.. maybe but in the end because the sooty's been in there a while already i doubt it will let another decent sized fish in the tank.

Yeah, I kinda already knew that but was really hoping that someone would have a magic answer. Just really like eel-tails.
Yeah they're cool i have three atm. Just moved tank so im trying to get them to come out again (theyve gone skittish).
Going to slow put in some more fish (Tanks 6x2.5x2.5) and eventually probably another sooty and see how it goes.
