Magic Place Of Wonders And Delights
Well as most of you know i have been battling HITH with my oscar i tryed just about everything i have also been cleaning tank 3 times a week.

I have one last resort that i idid'nt want to try becasue might not be good for that oscar i aint sure.
Why i am asking on here i am thinking of adding just a fatty diet and would this build up his fatty tissue after a while ? also adding melafix could that give it a kick?.
I am hoping that you say no melafix is needed as it is expensive but i will do what i have to do for Loco :D just wish he has a more clam personilty cause as you know he is nuts hence his name Loco.

Anyway thanks for your help everyone so far but all input about if this could work would be good.

As i am not sure if it will work also is there a pellet that has high fat content? if so how much is it becasue i have a allot of money i was saving for backup heaters and stuff so yea.

I hope that made sense i just woke up lol

Thanks In Advance

clean water, varied diet, and patience will do the trick. It takes hard work and time to heal it.

As far as melafix, it's not necessary, but it wont hurt. If you buy the pond stuff it's a hell of a lot cheaper;)

Thats what i have doing for the past few months and it stops it but only breifly untill it starts up agian which is annoying as hell :( speaking of which tank has to be cleaned today but everyone is alsleep.

But yea i clean it on sundays wedensday and fridays all the time and i have improved his diet allot but little result and little joy from this hobby lately :(.

Oh well get that for now i will just keep doing what i have been doing then .

Don't worry, I fought long and hard to heal my oscar. It took a long time, but it made the hobby more enjoyable as I learned from the experience.
