I was thinking somethin like a 24 inches long 24 inches wide and 12 inches tall..... i was thinkin something like a big feild of some type of grass all over the tank and have like 1 hill and put a moss tree if i can find the right driftwood should i go for a co2 injector and florite gravel? with added liquid fertilizer or is that over kill? will have great lighting idk wat the wattage is but i will find out. the thing is i want a few cool shrimp and 1 mid size school of small tetras just need ideas of wat ones. it will take years to get the plant how i want them but i can wait lol.

so does this sound ok and any help is greatly appreciated.

yea the thing is i dont know how many for a good school of them with like 5 of some type of shrimps and a school of ottos.

if you want a "field of grass" you will most likely need to add co2 or carbon supplement. most low growing carpeting plants are very demanding and fairly difficult to grow

yea co2 is a deffinate same with florite gravel and some liquid fertalizers made for aqutic plants like excel or flourish or somethin like that.... but my main question I want school of tetras of like 15 and and like 10 ottos and a few shrimp that look cool the tank is like 30 gallons at 12" tall 24" wide 24" long....

How/what would you feed all of the otocinclus?

Depending on the setup, you could live without the flourite, and co2. However, you need to let us know what type of plant you want for the grass.

Bump, still want to know.

ok sorry internet was down for a bit but im bak ummmmmm i know for the tree id useVesicularia dubyana for the grass id use Eleocharis parvula...... i would feed the ottos zuchinne......
