I have never come across an ultrasonic micro-algae remover before. I was not aware that such a thing exists. Maybe a site geared specifically at outdoor ponds might have someone more familiar with this device?
Personally I find the DE filter referenced to in my signature excellent at removing free floating algae from the water column. Is this ultrasonic algae remover supposed to be used inline with a regular filter to remove free floating algae in the water column? Or can you toss it in a tank and zap the whole tank including the surfaces all at once. I am guessing it is an inline device because I can't see the fish being very happy with ultrasonic sound waves in their tank water.
