To actually answer your question and not be a smart ass... yes, that would be suitable to keep fish in. As to whether or not that is large enough for a shark, you got me, that is out of my experience realm.

I don't see why not... though I have no eperience with sharks. But the Volume (as far as I know) is enough for that veriety.

the only thing I have to add to this, is please do not buy this from ace harware.....you will over pay for anything from them. look for the same thing at lowes or home depot and safe yourself some cash.
