well walked into lfs and found stunning Channa asiatica (my pics do no justice at all),i couldnt resist him ,he was in tropical tank at tropical temps so ive put him in main tank for now (until my temperate tank is set up) i am keeping close eye on him with the
aurantimaculata, at the moment they seem to be getting on just fine together, iam hoping to try and keep a few of the temperate colderwater species in a snakehead com, so interducing them into the 9ft tank so they have more room to get out of each others way if needed . he has a mark on his mouth at the moment where he got spooked and bolted upwards and hit the glass covers but he seems ok. he seems to like hanging out with my beat up dovii juvi even protecting it,(maybe saving it for lunch fattening it up), anyway thought i would share a pic , i will try and get couple more as he settles in
