as it says...lol got them in today now looking at it I am getting one he'll of a cichla collection going...lol the last 5 are the new additions. some pics of the new ones.

now as I am a bit confused. melanie are xingus? or is xingu a collection point for melanie? Google showed me both and I think they are one in the same but I don't want to mix them up if they are not. just gives me another to find if they are different...lol

Melanie is a xingu. Cichla Melanie is the scientific name and xingu is were they are collected. The genus is cichla and the species is Melanie. Technically xingu is a slang name.

They look good. I know the feel of your fish not growing fast enough to put together.

thanks, that is what I thought but wanted to be sure.

thanks yeah I was looking and I got 4 tanks of bass...lol... the pond will be great once they can go in.
 
thanks. the intermedia are 4" or so. the one is about 3.5" give or take. my azuls are tiny! I got them at about 1". now we are about the 2" mark...lol

I am just surprised how neon white they are. Wil be cool once they get used to the new natural tank design so there colors can come out.
 
now I just keep having the words "brokopondo brokopondo" buzzing in my head. oh boy did I really dive back into bass...haha

wonder what the wife will say when she finds out?
