i just did a water change and now my water is a little cloudy. is this normal? and if its not how can i fix it?

We need more info like what size tank , how much water did you change, what kind of filter and what kind what size and how many fish do you have in it.

How long has the tank been set up and have you added any fish lately.

Help us to help you.

its a 29 gallon, i changed 30% of the water, my filter is a whisper 30, i have 2 fish in it. i set up the tank about a month ago i havent added any new fish lately. the cloudiness cleared itself up overnight.

it's ok...
it takes ahile for it to settle down...
just remember to add in some salt...

its a new tank syndrome. prolly your tank is not fully cycled. once fully cycled, cloudy water problems will be gone.

actually if u meddle with the gravel, it is actually normal to get cloudy water, if all filtration is on healthy status, it will resolve the cloudy water after the cycle stable.
