Got the ornatum from Wet spot a little over a year ago as 1" wild juvies, the largest are now @ 5", the smallest about 3".

How long do the balzanii keep that head? Is that just during mating?

I believe the balzani are just coming into season, as they were 1" fry about a year ago

Nice looking Ornatum. I have 5 that are wild and supposedly from a totally different collection site. Supposedly true Ornatum or Gephyrum, hell they look like Ornatum to me haha. Time will tell I guess.

I agree with Matt, the cool down seems to really fire up the changes in all the Gymnos I keep, either that, or this years confluence of the moons of niptor.
