1. Has anyone kept LMB with peacock bass? I think this would be pretty cool.Could it work?

2. Has anyone kept a Lake White fish? I know they don't get enormous and I have pretty consistent access to them in the spring.

3. I've asked this before but who has kept Northern Pike? I'm definitely going to try and keep one when I re-do my tank NATIVE STYLE next year.

1. no, it might not work because of temp....worth a try ... need a big tank
2. yes, they look good in groups...sort of get boring
3. no, bu thave wanted to....i have kept chain pickrel....probly prety simalar...they eat anything

I have a white catfish in mt tank right now he is small though. As for lmb and peacocks I would think you would need to large of a tank to put them together probably a 300 to 500 gallon at a minimum

I've kept northern strain lmb in tropical conditions and they did fine. If you were able to get lmb from some of the southern states I'm sure they'd be at home in a tropical tank. Heck, they live together with peacock bass in Florida.

1) The bass should work fine as long as you have a large enough tank
2)I don't have info on lake whitefish as I have no experience with them.
3)Northern Pike is a very ambitious goal, your going to need a ridiculously large tank, in my opinion impractical unless you have a tank the size of a small pond. They just get too large. As i'm sure others have said you may want to try grass or redfin pickerel.

x2 on all three points.

The bass would handle the higher temps fine & it will also increase it's metabolism & grow a lot faster so I hope you house them in a large tank
