Just thought I would share a couple of pics of some Midas. The first Midas is one of the originals I collected in arenal years ago. This guy actually went through the PVC into a retention sump and I was too lazy to pull him out until recently when I finally got around to it. He is a good 12 inches, and a nasty fellow.
The second picture is of a Midas that came to me as a rescue. The person who gave it to me was moving away and has had him for 7-8 years now, and he is an offspring of "big head". The fish is remarkably huge for a Midas, easily at 15-16 inches long and an absolute beast! Enjoy the pics!
