thanks nigaharu. i bought them ages ago thinking that they'll be my cleaner, but little do i know they are the ultimate mean poo machines.

Sweet looking plecos


Never thought much of albino sailfin plecos till I saw this badboy at last weekends show.

anyone have any idea why my normal sailfin always have a black rear end? (refer to pic 1)
i first thought it was caused by stress, but he always been like that, kinda cool tho.

that's a neat lookin plec, but it looks more like albino common than albino gibby, i could be wrong though
 
About the coloration,I saw a HUGE gibbiceps at our LFS,that I think has been in an allmost unlit tank for all his life.
His usual "pantherlike-spots" had allmost completely diappeared.
This fish was black as night and my wife mistaked it to be a pseuda!
When I went to get my new gar,which was in the same tank, the guys at the LFS had to chase my new fish a bit,and then I noticed the gibbi.
He suddenly had a lightgrey banded pattern over his body and his head turned into different shades of grey!!!(Kinda like the pattern you find on hypostomus sp.)
I WAS AMAZED about his enormous change in appearance and at the fishes ability to adapt to his suroundings.
Do yours change colour?
