I shot about 30 pics tonight and these were the only ones that didn't totally suck.
Lutino Tiger Oscar, about 13"+
Red Tiger Oscar, about 10"
Tiger Oscar, about 16"
Parachromis motaguense, female about 7"+
Female mota hanging out with the male freddy?/loiselli?, about 11"+
Parachromis managuense pair, male about 13"+, female about 8"
Parachromis loiselli male, about 13"+, big daddy king stud, I call him "Captain Awesome"
Tank Shot
You can click on these for a larger version. No shots of the dovii tonight, sorry. The male, after swimming around for a couple of days, has taken to hiding out most of the day now. He is still eating well though. His color is getting better. The female is still hiding among the java moss (I hope). I haven't seen her since shortly after putting her in. But, there's lots of thick java moss in the back left. I'm sure she's probably terrified. The tiny little Texas is pretty bold, he's dug himself a hole at the base of the sword on the right and swims around a lot. He doesn't seem to be intimidated at all, even at 2 1/2" or so.
Most of all, I'd like to say thanks for this great forum. MFK is my constant inspiration and I appreciate the wealth of knowledge shared by you guys and gals. I love this place.
