First question:
Does anyone know of a list of what cichlids can (successfully) breed with a blood parrot?
Second question:
Does anyone have a pic of a BP/Convict cross? I've heard they are really ugly, but I've never seen anything but Jellybeans... and I'm not even sure if they are a BP/Convict hybrid...

Bp's can breed with a lot of other fish..Rd's, Jd's, Splendida, Fm's, Texas, Jags, and many more...Jelly beans are not Bp crosses....

But make sure its a female bp that your trying to breed... cause i heard that males are sterile.

My BPs are still pretty small, so I can't tell what sex they are yet.
I really like Convicts, but I was wanting to see a Convict/BP hybrid before I tried crossing the 2.

Twk1 is absolutely right. All male parrots are Sterile.
BP cross breeding will work only if they are females.

convict and bp crosses are not that great. i would shoot for something more exotic. basiclly all CA and most SA cichlids can cross to a bp. also as stated before BP males are highly sterile and will not produce offspring.

Well, I'm wanting a cichlid that stays (relatively) small. That's why I was shooting for a Convict. Are there some other cichlids that are easily found in a LFS and don't get larger than 4-5"?
I was thinking a Salvini/BP mix would be cool, but I've never seen a Salvini in any of my LFS.
Oh, and yes, I would be using a female BP. I'm just hoping one (or both) of my little BPs are female.

Yeah, Salvinis are awesome, but (like I said) I've never seen one in my LFS.
Any other fish that can breed with BPs and that stay small?
