Couple panoramas - Mt. Jefferson, Oregon

Went hiking by myself in the Mount Jefferson Wilderness today. First shot is on the way, all the rest are from a butte that rose up above most everything. Mt. Jefferson and Three Fingered Jack are shown.

Not a panorama, but this guy did not make it over the log jam.

It's a white-tailed deer. I startled a young buck today that had some nice new velvety antlers starting.

It was actually super hot and dusty. I didn't enjoy it as much as I normally do hiking. I'd never been there and actually had no idea there had been a forest fire, hah.

Stunning shots Jamie! You should coordinate a hike for a few of us one day, I wouldn't mind going too. You should look up "Northrup Creek" about an hour wet of Scapoose. I grew up hiking and hunting that area and there is LOTS of wildlife... If you go far enough, you get to the beach but it takes a day or too. The dear shot is cool!
