How big is that guy? Also, was he originally in a pond or something? The top pic looks like it was taken from the top-down...and I noticed the substrate was different.

The first pic was with the flash on the right side of my tank that has reddish maroon Bordeaux Dekoline gravel http://www.aquatic-nature.be/eng_dekoline2.html while the other side has a lighter color called Nevada.

He is about 3-4" long.

Here is a full tank shot he is hiding under the driftwood to the left like he was in the 2nd pic.

Thanks the Bichirs and the Pike Cichlids love those tubes. They are the spool we get some tape for a machine I work on so they just toss them. I had em laying around and thought hey why not.
