I think I may be starting to hate this site. I was perfectly happy with no tank for such a long time. :irked::irked::irked::irked:

In general how hard are Rays to keep? Are they all SW? or is there FW rays as well? If there is FW rays is there CB ones?

I really do not want to go the SW route again. But I think a FW tank would be nice.

Also - Tank size - To keep a pair of rays what size tank am I looking at?

Sorry for all the newb questions.... I am sure there will be plenty more to come.

Off to read ray threads on here.

There are fresh water rays. The tanks need very large foot prints. I wouldn't go much smaller than 7' x 2'. Depth isn't real important, but a large foot print is.

I don't know what a CB ray is.

CB = Captive bred... Sorry about that.

I have an odd ball thank that was given to me a while about. I will measure it tonight when I got home.

ROughly 2 ft tall, 6-7 ft long and about 4 ft wide. Very odd shaped thing.

What are the smaller FW rays?
