I am looking to pick up this 220 acrylic for a great price, but the only problem is that the back panel and overflows are made of blue lexan. I prefer a black background to show the fish better. I was wondering if anyone had any tips on covering up the the back panel and overflows inside the tank. I'm not looking to do a 3d background or anything like that, I just want a black background.

Whatever you plan on using to paint the inside - make sure it is completely cured before adding water and fish.

What would I use to paint the inside of the tank? Do you know of any products? I was also thinking of getting a thin black sheet of lexan, acrylic, or pvc to cut into pieces to cover the back of the tank. I was thinking of just using silicone to secure the pieces to the back of the tank.
