contemplating buying an 96"x24"x16" acryllic tank that comes with holes for a wet/dry. what would i have to do to seal the holes if i decided not to go with a wet/dry filter? also cost of doing it?
$20? Just get plumbing caps and saw off the pipes and cap them behind the tank. Then you can reuse them if you want later.
Or do like me, I wanted the wet/dry sump in use but didn't want a huge external pump sucking power and making a racket. So I just hooked a Rena XP2 to the plumbing instead. It pulls from the sump and dumps back into the tank while also filtering unlike a huge pump which just pumps.
