i went to my lfs and saw that they where selling a fish that kind of looked like a snake head. they called it a cow fish. does anyone know of this type? i would like to buy him just need some info

From what ive seen they dont move much but literally EAT LIKE COWS....be careful b/c they know magic...LOL... if u get one and it goes in tank with fish 3/4 its size and smaller it can make them disappear over night.
I have one and it is very shy. Loves to munch on feeders, but will eat just about anything. They can change color too! Watch out because these fish can get very large very fast. I don't know how big, but from the look on the guy's face when I asked him...
Just make sure you have enough room. They are very easy to keep and a great addition to a tank with other large fish. Good Luck!

Ours lives with our peacocks.He stays in a corner and gets fed threw a small whole in the corner of the top.He is around 15 inches now,he is a strange fish that the fish leave alone if he stays in his corner.
