CPR over flow question

What other way can I start the syphon in my cpr box than using a lifter or vaccuum pump?

I have attached an airline tube, the lift aperture of a CPR to the venturi port on a powerhead to help maintain siphon.

The venturi port constantly sucks the excess air from the CPR box.
An edit to make the old photo clearer (you can now see the air bubbles coming from the powerhead.

thanks for the info. So basically w out some type of pump, I cannot manually start the syphon ? I tried sucking on the airline attached to port w no luck lol. It’s been so long since I’ve had overflow ive forgotten everything it seems lol

You may be able to start it, but maintaining syphon is the real challenge.
Without some type of device constantly pulling air out of the overflow chamber, it is impossible to maintain syphon (in my experience.
