I have two overflow boxes from CPR: CS50 & CS102, but I am having a problem with loss of siphon.
A suggestion was made to purchase an aqualifter, but I was told that a Rio600 will do the same job as well. Cost is the difference.
Could someone please provide me with their experience or advice with either of these units. I would like to use the device that will hold siphon the longest thus minimizing the risk of a flood in my house.
Is there another device that will do this job as well?
Thanks,

use the aqualifter..I used them on mine for a peace of mind. The other thing you can do is to run a checkvalve out of the top nipple, run an airline tubing down to your sump and suck some water out every week or so..

I have a cpr cs90 and the only problem i have is sometimes it makes that gurgling sound. I don't have an aqua-lifter but am planning on getting one. I just have an airtube connected to the nipple:drool: and a check valve one the other end. To get it started I just sucked some air out and it started. Other people recommend using a powerhead. I think my return flow is so strong that pushes the water into the overflow. I using a quietone 4000 that is in my wet dry below my tank.

So far so good no problems breaking the siphon.
