just realized but i probably should have put these in the media section. a mod can move them.
regardless. fish are happy in the tank and already ate some frozen krill. ansd so far no aggression with the firemouth.

so after the first day and a half. the male and female seemed to be getting along real well. then all of a sudden i noticed the male in the top corner hiding. i watched a little longer and the female started chasing him.
anyone have any ideas or suggestions to help them pair up. female is larger than the male. by a half inch or so. trying to avoid getting 4 or 5 and getting a pair out of that cuz it gets expensive to get more of them. looking for any suggestions to help them pair up.

ive been slightly reluctant to add caves and such. several of the pikes i have had in the past then decided they wanted to hide in there cave all the time. and i love to see my pikes swim around.
i have a couple dithers. 3 SD's, a gold gourami, and a firemouth
the pikes in my avatar were a pair of johannas. unfortunately there was one of those vacation accidents and i lost them along with 3/4 of my tank. they were awesome tho. always swimming around the tank together.
