I hate to be the bearer of bad news but that is most decidedly NOT a lenticulata. Looks like an sp. "Venezuela"...

Are you sure it sure looks like a lenticulata in person.

Pretty sure. Even at a very small size they have very distinct spots along the back.

Here's some of mine when they were just 2". The spotting only gets more intense as they grow.

At 6"

At 8"

They also never show a single, thick horizontal bar on the body.

Nice pickup but don't think it's a lent. If you buy pikes alot get used to it. Alot of people mis-ID them.

Next time why don't you just bend over and grab your ankles?! Cuz they screwed you....you should have paid maybe $10 for a sp. 'venezuela'....not almost $40. Definately not lenticulata, not even close to resemebling lenticulata.
