There's a company called Trans Ocean that makes good quality artificial crab meat, flavored with essdence of crab. It's called Crab Classic and sells for between 3 and 5 dollars a pound in the frozen section of most supermarkets. You keep it frozen, beak of as much as you need, and it dices to just the size your fish need in seconds. It's high quality protein nutrition at a fraction of the cost of good commercial fish foods. My friend Jing Chan, owner of J. C. Aquarium and flowerhorn Store in Chinatown New York always is amazed how fast my fish grow. It's because I feed them Crab classic 3 times a week and he uses Humpy Head and Grand Sumo pellets. I grew a Giant Gouramy from 2.5 inches to 11 in 5 months and an electric Catfish from 2 to 9 inches in the same time on Crab Classic. Most large fish can get enough of it. try it, you'll like it. so will your fish and you'll save lots of money too.
