Crabs do feel pain AND they remember it afterwards, claim scientists

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
so a scientist basicly tortured crabs .........sweet
when i get done with the crab it'll have no memory cept maybe as an after taste of butter and a lil lemon juice

hmmm
in florida you can only take the claws from stone crabs... maybe they should re-think that...?

They were thought to be impervious to pain? :screwy: Those chefs must've been trying to make themselves sleep better by telling themselves that. I also heard that boiling was the most humane way:screwy: The only thing that I might agree with is that it's possibly the fastest way besides cutting directly into their brain.

Boil em anyway. It hurts cows when they are slaughtered, pigs when they have their throats slit, fish when we hook them etc. I've read articles that claim plants feel pain. Heck what are we supposed to eat?

It's not about eating them, or not eating them. It's about the humanity in the way they are killed/cooked. Yes, I eat them, and damn do I enjoy them. But I have always hated the way they are boiled. Just go to the brain, it's not that much more of an effort for crying out loud.
