I need some advice from someone who has some knowledge in construction, tank building/repair or acrylic work. My new 450 gallon tank has a crack going across the top, (see pics below). Can anyone tell me if the structure will be compromised? How can I reinforce this? Need advice please. Thanks in advance.

That can be easily fixed with some acrylic cement. IMO that is not going to affect the structural integrity, would be bad if the wide center brace was cracked.

i dont personally work with acyrlic put i have before and i have an understanding on acrylic bacing. if i were you i would fill the gap with acrylic cement, i would then put a patch that coers the hole crack plus 4"/10cm of the crackeither side(end parts) this will hold it. btw yes the structuralintegrity is comprimised with a crack that isnt fixed/patched
