Crack? Wound? Or just a new marking?

About 4 days ago, a rather large stripe appeared on one of my corydoras' faces. There's not a whole lot in the tank that could cause much harm to them, so I don't exactly understand where it came from. Could she have swam into the glass or an ornament so hard that she split her face? The cories do seem to enjoy zipping around at insane speeds every now and then..
Anyhow, I have a couple photos:

There was no sign of this mark untill just a few days ago.

Is there anything I ought to be doing, or does it look relatively harmless?

I would not treat it except maybe with melafix, corys often try to burrow and if it tried to burrow under a decoration it could easily leave a scrape like that.
 
Hole in the head starts as a small round or oval depression and tends to be very pale.
 
Doesn't look too serious.
