cracked 55gal

i just was given a 55gallon tank with a cracked end, im trying to decide im i should try to replace the end, or use the glass from the front and back to build a plywood 220 thats 48in x 48in x 22in. The 220 would have the two glass windows ajacent to each other, then the two plywood sides in a corner.

It would be nice to expand the tank to a 220, but you should probably state what thicknesses the glass is. I've picked up various 40-55 gallons that are all different thicknesses, I would hate for someone to advise you to do something with inferior glass.

All that aside, build what you can out of the free glass you've scored
