So a while back I bought a 12 gallon cube masters nano-cube. When I received it there was a crack across one of the sides . After much back an forth arguing I didn't think I was going to get my money back so I just put it in the attic. I'm thinking now I might wanna use the tank so I'm wondering what the best way to seal and reinforce the crack would be. It's a single clean crack about 5 inches long. Please give me some advice.

I'll have to dig it out to see if its possible, but does anyone know if you can just replace the outside tank and just transfer the guts?

yes you can just replace the panel. Just pull of the rims and cut out the old panel and install new one. And if its glass reseal the whole thing. It is pretty easy to do. I replaced the front panel on my 125 that I got for free because it was scratched badly. Now that 6' tank was hard to do but only cause the replacement glass was 6ft long and around 100lbs. But taking out the scratched peice was fun. I used a ball pen hammer.

Forget it, When I got the tank down the crack had wrapped all the way around the tank. Looks like I'll have to get a new set up unless anyone has any ideas.
