Ok well I had made the pond 2 months ago and while it was running smooth a damn earthquake of of 4.0 was happening and cracked the whole bottom and sides and glass to pieces to its unfixable even trying to seal it...I'll have to go fresh now with a pond liner...im not going to the trouble in finding a Acrylic glass so i'll get some wood and some bricks and place the pond liner in...but how much are pond liners? I'll make the pond 8'x4'x3'...abit small than the pond I had worked on for awhile :irked: but its should be big enough to house 4x Wild Cichla Orinocensis and 1x Wild Cichla Pinima, Indo Tiger Datnoid, Common Pleco, and im working on getting some other cichlids

Figure $1.00/ sq ft.

You will need underlayment of some sort as well to protect the liner. That price will depend on the type of material used.

so what should I used as an underlayment?

Can I just get Bricks or Concrete blocks and place the liner ontop of it? or is that not safe? i need this to work as i don't want 720 gallons running everywhere downstairs

There are commercial underlayments available from the liner manufacturer which I would suggest in your case. Outdoors your could use carpet, but I am concerned about mildew indoors.

Styrofoam sheeting can work too.

The poly-styro. foam will be good for the liner. Easy to cut at fit to anysize you need, and has some insulation properties.
