So I got a great deal on a 70G tank, but there is this small crack in it. It holds water, but what are you guy's thoughts on how the tank will hold up with this crack? Is there anything I can do to make it stronger, like putting some sort of sealant? Below is a picture and I can take more if it would help. Thanks for any responses!

Strip the silicone form that corner and get three thick pieces of glass and silicone them over and around the crack. There are other threads on this if you want to search the site.

Thanks for the response. I've tried searching but haven't found threads on repairing cracks like this in the corner of a tank. So just to clarify, how far around the crack should I go? I was also thinking of just covering that whole corner with sealant since the crack is only about 1 ince. Also, would it help if I filled the tank with sand past the height of the crack?

Your welcome. Like I said this is the only way to save the tank to be used for fish. If your having problems pm Duane and have him explain it more. I haven't had to do this myself so that's the most I could help
