Not really. I picked up a 150 and stand in perfect shape for $500 some time ago and almost picked up a complete 300 setup for a grand.
When it comes to used tanks on Craigslist, you're gonna get a wide range. For me, anything used is worth half of what it was new, now matter how great a shape it's in.

I brought lots of used tanks from CL also. Always never pay asking price. Sometime 30-50% off from new. Good luck n looks solid.
