I just paid $750.00 for pretty much that same setup. Mine came with a steel angle stand.

Yeah but your in Utah...tanks like this come around quite often in socal. Plus since this is an office and not a lfs or hobbyist...I seriously doubt they are gonna let it go for anything less than what they paid for it.
 
Offer seems a little low BUT i think its good. Hopefully you hear back from them and then you can negotiate a little.

Unless they are like, "this dude is rediculous (delete email here)"

that would suck.

it will probably go for around 500-750. a friend of mine just bought a 300gl acrylic with sump from an office in santa monica that his wife worked at for 500 bucks. it was in rough shape, but it will look sick when he cleans it up.

if only i hadn't promised my wife a 6 month break on buying tanks.
