Hello everyone! Just wanted to share my craigslist deal. On Monday I drove 2 hours to pic up a 265 gallon glass tank. It's drilled in the back bottom for a sump has 4 holes. Came with a bare 4x4 stand, and I only paid $200 for it! Here was the pic from the ad.

This is the tank and stand after we unloaded it.

Today I went with my dad and me and
Him wrapped the stand to make it look nice. We did not put doors on the stand, instead we made it to where you can remove the panels so I can completely access under the stand whenever I want.ImageUploadedByMonsterAquariaNetwork1390438462.833870.jpg

And lastly here is a pic of it sitting in front of my 120 gallon curved glass tank.

Only catch to the tank is it needs resealed. I've already scraped out all of the old silicone, wiped the seams down with alcohol, and got all the excess silicone out of the tank. Going to silicone tomorrow and test fill on Monday.

CONGRATS man that is an amazing deal! I got the same kinda deal on my 225, I paid 200 bucks for the tank, stand and filter etc.
There are definately some really good deals out there, but I think you just snagged the best one i`ve personally ever seen

It has like 0 noticeable scratches too. The only thing wrong with it is we broke the trim on the front moving it today but I'm going to bondo it back together and paint the trim white to match the stand

Yeah we had it sitting on my front porch. It snowed alot here since monday and we had to slide it because its so heavy, me and my dad couldnt lift it. When we moved it the trim caught on a piece of ice on the porch and it broke it :( I'm not too worried about it though as i said in a previous post, i should be able to bondo it back, and i planned to sand down the trim anyway and paint it white to match the bottom part of the stand. It's a work in progress for sure but is going to be AWESOME! when its finished. I get to set up my first ever sump, I already have an FX5 to hook up on it as well as all the lights and heaters. Going to do a slate colored tile bottom with a painted black background.

Yeah at least you can fix it easy, my first big tank had glass trim and I cracked it on the way in on the metal locking thing where the van door closes. Trim is much better than glass lol. Can't wait to see it all set up tho bro!
