lol at "i'm giving it away for 500.00 dollars."

i can go on the recycler and craigslist right now and find 160-200gl setups just like that for 500 bucks. heck, i just saw a listing a few days ago for a 240gl tank/stand/canopy/sump for 700 and when i called the guy he immediately said he would take 500 bucks cash.

He gives it away, indeed. That's s a one-piece from left to right round corner glass tank. The setup without filter costs $900.00 or more

"The setup without filter costs $900.00 or more"

no doubt, but in this hobby for every dollar you spend you might get back .10-.15 cents back. the average is 1 dollar per gallon for glass, 2 per gallon for acrylic. thats average.

best thing to do if you are really interested in moving a tank/stand/canopy is before you list on craigslist/ebay/recycler is to look at what similar setups are running and price accordingly. if you REALLY need the money, price a bit lower to get more bites.

heck, i know a guy trying to sell a 300gl acrylic setup right now with a tank/stand/canopy/sump that he paid over 7K for. he had it listed for 1600.00 bucks for 3 weeks with no bites. he finally lowered the price to 1000.00 and was able to get it sold. thats less than .15 cents on the dollar.

:grinno: :grinno: :grinno: :grinno: :grinno:
Pump for a great setup. Still more tempting with the 60x30x30 from exoticfishguy. My 2nd option :D :D

I'm sure they maybe better deals out there than this but this is still not a bad deal for a one piece rounded corner tank. Kudos for you if you can find a ready to go setup for less than $500.

JL, this tank is similiar to the Jebo R250 I have except this is taller and deeper. Very clean looking tank.

He's not giving it away, thats an average price. Craigslist is usually cheaper than MFK, because there you have some people who really need the money. MFK's tend to have slightly deeper pockets. The rounded glass corners is unique and expensive, but he mayb only get 50 bucks more for it than if it had normal corners.

If you can kindly assist me to these people that are selling, I'll purchase it right now. 200+ glass or acrylic setups. I never come across these spectacular deals on recycler, craigslist or ebay. When I do, it's been sold!

:iagree: :thumbsup:Ya, show me PROOF!!!!

To me if the owner takes care of the tank and equipment in superb condition then I would pay a little more to benefit from the peace of mind.

How much does just the tank run if i was to order it from a store? I kind of like the round corners.
