Either way, the listing was removed. Try calling the pet store he claimed to have sold them to?
that might work, except most pet store employees know absolutely nothing about what they are selling, especially when it comes to piranhas

he just emailed this to me "I never sold the father. Hes still with the mother. I know that these are expensive fish but their babies and ill always have more in the future. I have 12 adult Pirayas in my 210g fish tank. I have 3 females that i know of and the rest i think are males. I been into Piranhas since i was 9 years old and i love them to death. Ill let you know if your still interested in my next breed. =)"

first off how the hell he know it's male or female, how do he know het got 3 female? piranha are no way to ID male or female unless you open the fish up. or have a proven pair. But in his case he got 12 which is hard to prove which is male or female.

I been into piranha for years and years, I have own piraya from 2" and grown them up to 8-10" before less then 2 years. But piraya are very hard to breed.

not to mention easyest to breed are red bellies as for pygo. But there are some success of breeding on Serra. gold spilo/Mac.

Tern pair has lay eggs before but the eggs never got furterlize (spelling) so there no fry.

other then that, i don't know anyone who can breed piraya in captive tank :screwy:

haha, someone over at p-fury just noticed that this guy is using the picture from the piraya profile on p-fury in his ad. he's trying to pass off a picture from p-fury as his adult piraya, what a tool.

I knew I saw that picture somewhere else. That must have sucked for whatever lfs bought those babies, whatever they were.

he may have even been lying about them being sold to avoid being called out by someone who seemed to know what they were talking about.

what a loser.
