Just curious how many of you have used Craigslist to buy or sell stuff for the hobby? It seems like a great resource, but would be cool to see how many people actually use it!

i just found a free 75g in baltimore, unfortunately i'm away at college on the eastern shore of MD and couldn't get it. i think craigslist is a great resource... except for when people try to sell used things for near brand new prices
i lovecraigslist,search it everyday for freebies and deals, so far i have got a complete 55 setup a 37 cube with everything but stand fora total of 50 bucks. My first 55 complete setup with a goody box of decor and pumps and light strips for 60 bucks. 29 complete for 25 bucks. and my best deal to date came thru the our local aquarium club classifieds- a 125 tank, stand, lights ,heaters ,and two emp 400 for FREE!!!! Also picked up some cool fish for free from craigslist
After being away from the hobby for about 20 years, I decided to get back into it and was not sure If I would like it as much as I used to. I purchased a 65g fully set up with a nice stand and canister filter on good ol C-List and I was hooked. I only had it for about 6 months and resold it back on C-List for what I paid. In the mean time I got full swing back into the hobby with my 120g. That I ended up buying from a store because I needed to find a 5' long tank to fit my space and all craigslisters had were 4' or 6'.
All 8 of my tanks came from Craigslist. Why buy new when you can save several hundred dollars?

I have purchased my last 3 bow-front tanks off of Craigslist. Infact, I picked up a 46g tonight that I found on Craigslist. It's really the only (used) source I know.
