my ornate died.:cry:
he got bloat.
i tried keeping him alive by holding him right way up in a bucket of water with some salt...
he died...:cry:
even though i rarely saw him...
i still miss him.:(
he was much bigger than i expected since i never actually knew his size until he died.

My neighbor had a dying goldfish and they saved it by throwing it into a bucket of ice water. I guess the shock gave it some kind of jolt. Weird huh?

I hate when this happens. :(

I hate to admit it, but this is part of the hobby. I lost my prized clown loach to bloat (double saddle, and double spot).

Have any of your other fish had bloat? I would treat the tank with Mardel Maracyde 2, to be sure the infection is cleared and your other fish don't catch the same fate.
