OH CRAP I THINK I KILLED MY TOAD!!!! I add water to tank, the past a particular stone where my fire bellied toadhibernating under. I move the stone and I think I squashed him!!his organs were hanging off his side, but there were clues us earlier death as the bottom area was nothing but bone, so maybe it died and decomposed under the stone or died and the fiddlers just came in to do there job

Sorry to hear about your toad man i know it's not a fish but it still sucks to loose a pet like that. Especially when you think you killed it yourself. We had a red tail shark jump out of bowl during tank moving and he ended up getting stepped on in the process.

thats not good. After my electric catfish dyed, my dad tried to burry it in the backyard. He burries it right where the garden would be. my mom chewed him out and he digs it back up to select another spot and he chopped him in half with the shovel    :screwy:

you're a dork. But that's ok cause i just laughed.

Sorry for your loss. If the bottom area was already decomposing it's unlikely that you killed him. Hopefully that will make you feel a little better, but a loss like that is always hard. My condolences...

well, it was deformed. one of the back feet had no webbing, just a stub. There was a green tree frog but it escaped. I come back from school and my cat is carrying in its mouth like a prize (it was dead of course). that is what I am worried about with getting a flying gecko. I need to find a large screen cover. Its not like it can survve loose in a house like a tokay or house gecko, because they need moisture, there is especially no way it could survive the cool whether here.

If you want a cover that is sturdy enough to keep a cat out buy a light diffuer and silicone some nylon mesh to the insde surface, trim the diffuser to fit the tank and glue lathe strips to the edges so it does not slide. any home improvement store will carry the stuff.
